Youth center "Lighthouse" is non-governmental, non-profitable, non-national, non-religious humanitarian organization witch gathers youth between 12 to 18 years of age.

Lighthouse objectives

- psycho-social support to the young people with war traumas, youth in crises
- Prevention of deviant behavior with the young people (drugs, alcohol, criminality)
- Support and affirmation of creativity with the young people
- Development of interest in computer science and foreign languages, and education in these fields

What do we do

- We are friendly, play games, and have fun
- We educate in the fields of interest for the young people, such as computer science, foreign languages, world of science, democratic values, conflict resolution etc.
- We work and are friendly in creative section such as: painting, music, ecology, literature, photo, drama, journalism, etc.
- We promote our work through the internal youth magazine "Terra X", exhibitions, musical performances, performances in schools, for parents, etc.
- We occupy ourselves with sport activities (tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc.)
- We occupy ourselves with humanitarian work, especially with help for old and exhausted people.

From 01. 06. 1996 to 01. 10. 1999, over 1300 children become the members of our Center
