University of Banjaluka:   

Banja Luka is educational and university center of the northwest part of Republic  Srpska, and simultaneously of that part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a university center with 12 faculties and two schools of higher education.

 Establishment and development of the higher education school and faculties was following the needs of the region, so the following disciplines of the faculties and higher education school were given special attention: Electrotechnics, Engineering, Technological, Medicine, Economics, Law, Agricultural, Forestry, Science and Mathematics, Architecture and Construction, Philosophy, Dentistry, Higher Mining-Geological School (Prijedor) and Higher School for Management (Prijedor).
